Weeks later, months later, a year later, Jimin will see Taehyung in mirrors. Jimin will think he is his own reflection, probably. It has happened before.
Taehyung says, “what I'm saying is that my fate is with you. My future is with you. You know?”
Jimin does not know. Well— he does, of course he does. But also, he does not.
“We could’ve enlisted together,” Taehyung says. He speaks slowly, through a grimace, like he knows it is going to set Jimin off.

Jimin pulls away again and wets his lips, lets his gaze slip over Taehyung's pretty features before he whispers, "You look—"
"Like I belong in the Laverie?" Taehyung cuts in, teasing, with a playful glint in his eyes. Jimin snorts as he smacks a hand over Taehyung's chest.
"Will you ever let that go?" Jimin sniffs; he looks almost affronted, but there's amusement glimmering in the gold adorning the irises of his eyes and Taehyung shrugs, smiling lazily.
"Maybe," he answers, bringing his hands up to rest over Jimin's hips, just beneath the waistband of his jeans. "Maybe not."
