   Summary

   The new house is too clean. Too quiet.
 Buck drops his keys on the counter just to hear them hit something, but the sound dies too fast. It’s not like the Diaz house, where there was always noise, laughter, life. He’s getting good at pretending it doesn’t ache, but after Chris and Eddie boomeranged back from Texas something was knocked out of place within him on the rebound.
