Work Text:
Dick’s body wouldn’t stop trembling. He wasn’t sure how long Slade had forced him to train, all Dick knew was that one moment he had been fighting the training simulator with black spots dancing before his eyes, and the next moment Slade had bee tossing him in his ‘room.’
And now Dicks was trembling all over. He was sure he was dehydrated but Slade hadn’t given him any water.
Not that that would stop Slade from demanding Dick keep training later, or even worse, send him on a mission. Slade had already forced him to go on two mission. Thankfully, both had just been stealing something. And even though the missions had been successful, that hadn’t stopped Slade from punishing him for not killing the guards instead of just knocking them unconscious.
At least that had been the only thing Slade had complain about. If he had realised that… No, best not to think about that.
Dick had been taught be Alred how to fire a gun, and his skills in weaponry had grown when Slade had blackmailed Dick into being his apprentice the first time when Dick was in the Teen Titans.
Slade had been training him in weapons again, and Dick feared that the next mission he went on Slade would try and force him to kill someone.
Dick didn’t want to kill anyone. He had almost killed the Joker, and he had stood aside to let Tarantula kill Blockbuster, and both of those deaths hung heavy on his conscience. He didn’t want to actually kill anyone. But if it was the only way to keep Slade from going after Tim…
Dick shuddered at the thought. He’d deal with it if it came to that. Dick would do anything for his family. And unfortunately, Slade knew that.

Barbara ran through all her facial tracking software again, hoping desperately that this tie she would get a hit somewhere.
They needed a clue to where Slade had taken Dick. If only they had something to help narrow down the search…
Her computer beeped and she rolled over to the right screen. Barry had sent her an alert about a break in at one of the labs in Central City.
She scowled, she didn’t have time to look through robbery footage right now. But maybe it would be a welcome distraction, and it was strange for Barry to send this to her instead of taking care of the problem himself.
She scanned through the footage and froze.
Quickly she reached up and activated her comm. “This is Oracle. I think I might have a clue.”
