He glanced back up at Aou. “This place?”
Aou nodded. “I think it was meant to lead me here.”
Boom looked back down at the map. “Is it a game?”
“My sister made it,” Aou said. He paused. “It’s a kind of treasure hunt.”
Boom leaned on the counter again. “So where does the next clue take you?”
Aou raised an eyebrow. “You’re saying you want to come?”
“I’m saying,” Boom said, “that I’m good with riddles, and you look like you could use someone who doesn’t mind getting a little lost.”
