Charlie stopped chewing for a minute as something felt off. Gingerly reaching in, he retrieved a tiny plastic duck from the handful of granola he had thrown into his mouth without looking.
Their boss had given Darcy permission to hide 150 tiny plastic ducks all around the office, but this took the coworker engagement just a bit too far.
“Really Darce? In the food? What if I had swallowed it?”
Darcy looked at Charlie with an overly-innocent expression. “Then I expect the retrieval would have been a lot more difficult, and I would have expected you to wash it fist.
