"Hahah, manager," Hugo chuckled as charmingly as ever, shaking his head slightly. "I grant you that I'm not a vampire. Those don't exist."
Wise hugged the pillow and let out a giggle filled with mischief. The movie was paused at the precise moment where the male lead, a vampire, was about to bite the neck of its victim — which sparked the discussion about Hugo's similarities with a vampire and Wise's questions about him being one of them or not.
"Then why I don't see you during the day?" Wise asked, narrowing his eyes slightly as he stared at Hugo.
The man smiled softly. "We just happen to miss the chance to meet, but I can grant you I can go out during the day just fine."
"Hmm, then how do you feel about garlic? What if I order something with it right now, hm? Would you… turn into a bat and fly away?" Wise gestured with his hand, swinging it and pointing towards his bedroom's window.
Hugo shook his head, again, "while I don't oppose the idea, I'm sure there are better options that would please both our palates. And, I'm afraid I'll disappoint you as I can't turn into a bat, smoke or anything like that."
Wise frowned slightly. Deep down, he didn't really believe Hugo was a vampire — he knew better than that. An assassin, a criminal, a wanted thief? Sure, but a vampire? No. Still, there was surely something about him that Hugo wouldn't be able to deny, he just needed to find out what.
Wise looked at him, from the tip of his shiny shoes to the top of his head, and the corner of his own lips were pulled up when he saw a small bit of Hugo's teeth. "Then smile for me."
"A smile?" Hugo repeated, confused, but obliged anyway. He took a small breath before giving Wise a wide smile, baring his teeth — and, most importantly, his sharp canines that looked exactly like vampire's fangs.
"Aha!" Wise cheered, pointing at it, "there they are. Only vampires have those," he nodded confidently as it took Hugo a couple seconds to process.
As the thought settled on Hugo's mind, the man laughed, shaking his head. "Oh, I guess you figured out my true nature, manager," he looked at Wise with sharp eyes, "it seems I'll have to do something about it now."
"E-eh? Wait, what do yo- woah!" Wise gasped as Hugo suddenly pulled him from his seat into his arms. Before he could react, the man had his hands held together and pressed against his chest. "H-Hugo, wait!"
"No can do, manager," Hugo shook his head, brushing a couple strands of Wise's hair out of his way and pulling lightly at the collar of his shirt. "I need to take care of you now that you exposed me… ahh ~"
Bite!
"A-agh, Hugo!" Wise gasped, pressing his bound hands against Hugo's body as he tried to push him away. "It- ahah, i-it huhurts!"
Hugo hummed against his skin, as if to make some smart comment about the contrast between Wise's reactions and words. He gently held the tender skin of the proxy's neck between his teeth, nibbling and teasing it while holding the other man in his arms.
"NohOHoh! Ahaha, i-it's nohohot suppohohosed to tihihickle! H-Huhugo, stohohop!" Wise squealed, turning his head away slightly as that electric sensation spread against each and every nerve, his skin prickling with goosebumps as Hugo's warm breathing bathed it along with each bite. "Ohohokay! AHaha, y-you're nohohot a vampihihire! I-I truhuhust yo— ahAHAHA!!
