Summary
After the explosion, Amelia fights her way through the chaos to find Monica trapped in OR2. When she finally reaches her, she’s terrified it’s too late — and blurts out everything she’s been too scared to say. Amelia is forced to watch as the team tries to save her, not knowing if she’ll make it.
When Monica wakes up in the ICU the next morning, Amelia’s still there — exhausted, shaken, but unable to leave. It’s not a perfect ending, but it’s real — and maybe, for them, that’s enough.
