That Jayce would understand his pain in a way that perhaps no one else would dare. He turned away from the memory as it began to fade. The next two weeks had changed them both.

Viktor and Jayce Talis from Arcane: League of Legends sit on a couch in Viktor's apartment talking to each other. Viktor is curled up with one of his legs tucked up close to his body, folding his arms over his knee and resting his head on his forearms. He is also hugging his cane. His mouth is hidden in his sleeve as he listens to Jayce talk to him from the floor, a look of exhausted sadness on his face. Jayce is sitting in front of Viktor on the floor, he's leaned over and resting his arms on Viktor's bad leg, one of his hands is on splayed on top of Viktor's thigh. Only the back of Jayce's head can be seen, along with his long eyelashes. There is an outline of Arcane magic blue lining the outside of the two men from the memory being reconstructed.
