Summary
Childe will remember the sting of Zhongli’s rejection well.
He will feel the remnants of it long after he has left Liyue - every time he glimpses at anything shaded gold, every time his mind wanders to the memory of a deep timbre of a voice and a soft, caring smile.
Childe knows he is nothing more than a mere passer-by in Zhongli's endless life. Temporary company and easy to let go. Of course Zhongli doesn’t want him.
Perhaps it is time to return to Snezhnaya.

The world was for Lohen to live in -- in his opinion. He'd disregard the pitiful woes of the people around him, and do whatever he wanted, and do whatever benefited him.
So what happens when Lohen is faced with the anguished face of someone he surprisingly cares about, begging him to stop hurting himself?
Or: Lohen gets some much needed therapy, and learns that there are people who love and care about him along the way.
