Romantic? Duh, I mean, isn't France the country of Love along with Rome itself? Kinda obvious if you asked ladybug about it. But boring? Never.
How dare Fei's friends think -and claim- such a think!
Paris was not boring, nor its civilians. Akumatizations, alternative realities and magic aside (Which doesn't count taking into account that miraculi are literally sprawled all over the word, and even without magic jewelry eisting, there's still literaly magic and technology since superheroes (by power or innovation alone) exist all around the world too). If anything, living in Paris could be counted as being inside a cartoon village.
And Marinettte Dupain-Cheng will prove it.

And the Bug-like Super knew exactly what to do…. once she finishes her commition. That is, if she could ever finish it before her insomiac tendencies mix with her “workalcoholism”.

To what came such conclusion anyways? Simple, after going to shanghai Marinette kept in conteact with Fei Wu, the newly adopted daughter of Cheng-Fu (Sabine's brother). The more time passed, the more they talked and the two ravenettes ended up having a normal cousin interactions, but as this kinship carried on, Fei introduce Marinette to a couple of her friends
The boys that took a picture with Adrian, at the end of the trip. A gamer, a foddie one, and the thrid looked like a biker boy, if she recall well. She'll have to look again at her resources later
And they talked for half an hour over call, before the gamer mentioned how parisians, for having terrorrism as a daily braid, are quite plain. This awakened the guardian's competitive spirit, naturally. And she promised Fei's gang that she would prove, one way of another, the boys wrong. So, here we are.
For now, she feels like causing some mayhem along the way. And what better way to cause commotion than by showing you care about your team's well-being and security!
So she does what every logical, sensible person does, when there's assing a bunch of kids as their team for an indefinite time: Create a whatsapp group chat.
After all, what better way to show that Paris is NOT boring, than by having evidence through manic texts from it's superheroes?
