[ART] Two of Swords

Summary:

They're so close... Draco daren't breathe. Potter's warm body curls around his, nigh on embracing him if not for their wands. Guards up as ever. Will they curse each other? Or come together at last. Yearning grey eyes look to green, and soft fingertips curl through messy hair to bring their foreheads gently together.

Based on the Two of Swords tarot card:
Upright: Difficult choices, Indecision, Stalemate
Reversed: Lesser of two evils, No right choice, Confusion

Work Text:

The same image will be fully described below, this is sized down so it can be imagined as a card

Full Two of Swords Tarot Card. It has a black background with a simple gold border around it, with lettering in gold. Draco Malfoy dressed in a fancy green cloak is curled around Harry Potter who is in a red t-shirt and fancy brown pants. They are holding each other with one of their arms: Draco has his hand in Harry's hair, and Harry has his on Draco's wand arm. They are resting their foreheads together and looking into each other's eyes. Between them, they are pointing their wands at each other. Their wand arms are crossed, and where they cross a sparkly transluscent fabric ties them together and leads off screen. There is a gold line drawing of a phoenix with a snake in its claws across the top of the card. Harry is wearing Chudley Cannon socks.

Notes:

Anyone can see anything in this, but in my mind, they've been intimate (in some way) before, and know something of each others' love and longing as well as their animosity. This is the moment where they're really looking at each other, caught for a moment in the junction of their anger and affections, and in each other's embrace. Getting the courage to do something about it, whatever that might be.
