Taryn had known from a young age that she was a blight on her family but, still, she figured they never expected their beautiful daughter to end up in a mental institution.
What really tickled her was that she wasn't even in there for the reasons she probably should've been. No, nobody seemed to give a flying fuck about her addictions or her reckless behavior.
No, it was just those damn nightmares. The ones that made everyone around her think she was crazy.
Not in the Snake Pit, though. They understood.
Is this really how I finally find my people?
