Summary
Spiderman was done. For good. And he was NEVER going back.
Walking away from it was something Peter thought he would never be able to do. His days seemed so dreary, so bleak. He was depressed, confused... so sad and lonely.
And the world had changed. Peoples opinions have shifted on the idea of superhumans.
People didn't want Spiderman, or superheroes, anything to do with the gifts people like him were given. They just wanted to live their lives. So even the people he was closest to began to avoid him. Everyone. Everyone he had ever loved.Everyone except Miles.
Neither thought themselves capable of walking away from Spider-Man. But Miles saw what was coming. A complete revolt against people like them. Neither thought, nor wanted, to walk away from Spiderman.
But they did.
One day they did. Together. And they promised each other they would never go back.They are ready to finally learn who they are as individuals, on their own and on their terms.
