He slowly opened his eyes to find himself in a pure black room. He looked around to notice no light, but he could see that it was cubical. He briefly wondered why and how he was here, though those thoughts were interrupted suddenly.
"It's your fault; you killed our only family!" the only member left of his precious family yelled at him in the face. He didn't have time to comprehend what was going on or to notice he appeared out of thin air. All that he felt was pure regret and guilt stab him in the stomach and tears pushed forcefully out of his eyes.
"I-I'm sorry Yuu-chan!" he cried out only to see the other teen disappear from his sight. However, he felt the familar tip of the demon sword poke at his back before slamming into his heart, causing only more pain to the already terrifying situation he was in.
"I-I'm sorry..." he shakily breathed out, "I d-deserve to die..."
"How could you take what I only had away from me?" the figure from behind him growled, "You planned it didn't you?"
"N-no! I d-didn't!" he sobbed as the sword somehow push farther in making black droplets of blood spill out and onto the floor. He felt like his face was burning as he tears turned black to match.
"But it's still your fault, isn't? Shouldn't you have known?"
His body couldn't move; he didn't know why. He tried to nod but he couldn't, tried to say yes, it was, but his mouth wouldn't open.
"Why are you so silent all of the sudden? Huh?" the person he thought to be Yuu practically spat out, "Do you not care about the lives YOU KILLED?!"
Please, stop, I'm begging you! Just kill me already! he pleaded in his thoughts as the torture continued.
"Mika, Mika, Mika," he repeated in a monotone voice, but it got gradually got louder and louder till it turned into a full on shout.
----
"Mika!"
The blond snapped open his eyes to see a worried Yuu on top on him shaking his shoulders.
"Y-Yuu-chan? What is it...?" he mumbled before feeling tears stream down his face.
"Mika... You... You just kept tossing and turning and said you wanted me t-to... k-kill you... Are you okay?!"
The memories of the dream came back crashing into him like a bunch bricks.
"I'm sorry..." he sobbed as he hugged the other teen tightly, "I'm so sorry for t-taking your family a-away..."
"M-Mika?" he questioned as he was embraced, "That wasn't your fault... you couldn't have known."
"B-but I should have."
Yuu pulled back a bit to stare Mika in the face, "It. Wasn't. Your. Fault."
Before he could argue back, the raven haired teen started to kiss him. He felt bad for everything in the past, yet he couldn't help but feel calmer with him reassuring him. He closed his eyes softly and kissed back, trying to forget about the nightmare.
