Summary
An Auror Potter comes to Hogwarts, and Tom would say that he doesn't care. He would say that — if Potter didn't smoke Muggle cigarettes, didn't wink with his one good eye, and didn't call him 'Tom' so softly, so amiably, as if he'd known him for decades.
This Harry Potter is a far more intriguing puzzle than any offered by the grey pages of textbooks, and Tom sets about solving it. Ravenously, fervently, and recklessly — in a way the Tom Riddle of old never would have.
