Summary
In the wake of learning that Scott is a vampire, Ren is hurt and betrayed, and rejects Scott's attempt to claim him by removing the collar he had been given. But he can't stop thinking about him, missing the easy way Scott would take control over him, and even after trying to distract himself by sleeping with someone else, Ren wants Scott's touch. He wants to serve him. He fights himself about it for days, until finally, he goes to Scott to take him up on his offer.
An offer not to become a fellow vampire, but to become Scott's thrall, and finally be where he belongs.
Contains spoilers for up to episode 5 of Vampires SMP and I very much diverge heavily into doing my own thing with no regard for what may happen in episode 6 hehe.
