Luke took a lingering last look at the home he’d known all his life, the home he’d been so eager to leave.
He hadn’t wanted to leave like this, with no one to ever come back to.
But it wasn’t his home anymore, just an abandoned farm. If the Imperial soldiers hadn’t looted it after they’d killed his aunt and uncle, then the Jawas soon would. It wouldn’t even be considered robbery, out here. Not when there were perfectly good vaporators that no one was using. They might as well go to someone instead of being left to erode away.
