Work Text:
When you live and work with someone for nearly eight years, you get to know them pretty well. Some might even say, too well.
That is to say, Seungmin knew way too much about Felix. He knew the sounds of his different snores, how he bumped into things first thing in the morning or late at night when he was too tired to pay attention to his surroundings, and the way he got extra snippy when he had to play happy sunshine for too long for the public eye. He was a genuinely happy, sunny person but over the years it had become his entire public persona and it got exhausting for him. Seungmin knew this. Most everyone in the group, Hyunjin included, knew this.
Another thing Seungmin knew too much about was his roommate’s relationship. He knew that Felix had a thing for the handful of centimeters Hyunjin had on him and the fact that the other man’s hands were much larger than his own. He even knew that Hyunjin was weak for Felix’s voice, particularly when Felix dropped it low. Hell he could probably even identify them by their moans, by this point.
All this to say, when Felix stormed out of their apartment with a dark look on his face less than two minutes after Hyunjin said Felix was too innocent and holy to be sexy, Seungmin just pulled out his phone and texted Changbin a head’s up. Because he knew that by the time Felix got to the other boys’ place, it would really be for the best if there weren’t any bystanders.
Not that they would care. (He and Changbin were probably owed hazard pay for the number of times they’d each walked in on them by this point.)
Sure enough, it was less than ten minutes before Changbin was barreling into his apartment with a scarred look on his face that Seungmin was intimately familiar with.
“Did he at least end the live first?” Seungmin asked without looking up from his phone. He’d been watching earlier, it was how he’d seen the comment Hyunjin made, but he’d turned it off to watch other videos.
“Barely.” Changbin dropped onto the couch with a heavy sigh. “I’d say he should know better but…”
“But he did it on purpose,” Seungmin finished. He finally looked up. “Think there’s any chance of you going home tonight or do you want the couch?”
Changbin sighed again and slumped down. “I’ll just take Lixie’s bed.” Seungmin grimace. “...or not?”
“Hyunjin was here yesterday,” he reminded him, “and Felix hasn’t done the laundry yet.”
Changbin grimaced. “Couch sounds great.”
“You know where the pillows and blankets are.”

Hyunjin bit back a grin when he heard the front door slam open and quickly ended the live. Just in time, too, because Felix stepped into the room as he tapped the screen off.
“Jinnie,” Felix growled and Hyunjin finally let his grin loose.
“Angel,” Hyunjin replied easily, turning in his seat to look at him fully. His boyfriend was a sight for sore eyes, even though it had only been a few hours since they’d last parted. His face was bare and his hair was a mess. The best part though was that he was dressed in some of Hyunjin’s old clothes, a clear sign that he had been getting ready for bed. “Something wrong?”
Felix’s face darkened and Hyunjin’s grin only grew. He’d known when he said that Felix was too pure and holy that Felix would be annoyed but this was even better than he’d imagined.
Felix crossed the room and hauled Hyunjin to his feet, his recent efforts in the gym on full display. Hyunjin let himself be manhandled around until Felix shoved at his chest and he fell backwards onto the bed. In an instant, Felix was on top of him, pinning his hands to the bed beside his head. Hyunjin canted his hips up and Felix met him for a moment before stilling. “Oh,” he said softly before pulling away. “I shouldn’t.” He let go of Hyunjin’s hands and sat up straight. “It would be too impure of me. Too unholy.”
He started to rise up and Hyunjin quickly grabbed his hips to hold him in place. “I didn’t mean it.” Felix arched an eyebrow and Hyunjin had to sit up and kiss him. “Obviously. You know that.”
“Do I?” His voice was still soft but it was slow it came out like gravel.
“Angel, if I had to share a stage with you doing a sexy concept I’d lose my damn mind.” He dipped his head to nuzzle into his neck and press kisses along the curve of his jaw. Felix hummed. It wasn’t an encouragement, not yet. Hyunjin nipped gently, careful not to leave any marks.
“So you’d rather I was innocent instead?”
There was something in Felix’s voice that made Hyunjin pull back to look at him. “No,” he assured him, moving his hands from his hips to wrap gently around his back. “I want you to be you.” He kissed him gently. “I only ever want you to be you.” Another kiss. “But they don’t know you, the fans. They think you’re sunshine incarnate. Incapable of anything else. I was just...playing into that.”
Felix put his hand on Hyunjin’s neck and used it to push him back a little bit. His eyes were dark and for once, Hyunjin couldn’t quite read him. “Don’t.”
“Okay,” Hyunjin agreed immediately. He knew how it weighed on Felix at times, the role he played in public and how he felt like he wasn’t allowed to ever get upset or angry. The last thing he had wanted to do was make it worse.
Felix’s hand shifted and squeezed just a little bit. Hyunjin’s eyes threatened to close but he kept them open, kept looking at Felix. “Good.”
Stay could have sunshine Felix. The real one was so much better.

Chan took one look at Hyunjin and rolled his eyes, a look of disappointment, but not surprise, on his face. He turned to Felix as he entered behind him and raised any eyebrow. “Really?”
Felix shrugged, unrepentant. “That’s what makeup’s for.”
“It’s not like we’re filming today,” Hyunjin added. He looked to the mirror on the far wall and arched his neck to get a good view. The bruise wasn’t even that bad, he didn’t know what Chan was worried about.
Jisung whistled from his spot stretching on the floor. “The pure comment?” He asked cheekily.
Hyunjin only grinned.
