“You're going to need your energy,” Chan taunted. “Bet he catches you within the hour.”
Kim continued on, ignoring Chan's interjection. “There is no way off the property–not that you'd make it that far, anyway. It's a five day walk to the property line and there is security patrolling it.”
Jisung hardly had time to process the last sentence before Chan hoisted him to his feet. He knew better now than to resist, Chan was leagues stronger than him. They led him outside the truck, his feet touching the ground for the first time in hours.
“W-what will happen if he catches me? Who is this man?” Jisung stuttered out. The two men shared a look and a laugh.
“No one has ever kept away from him for more than a day. I doubt you'll be breaking that record, so you'll find out soon enough,” Chan smirked.
