Summary
Now, just because Crystal is dead doesn’t mean that she doesn’t have eyes.
Newbie is the kind of gorgeous that defies all gender norms, the sort of pretty that girls and boys would both kill to be and to kiss.
And yeah, he looks vaguely familiar, but most pretty boys do.
And Newbie beelines straight for Niko, where Niko has a fucking doggie bag ready for him, which can only contain-

(Crystal is a zombie mortician who eats the brains of victims to see their memories and solve their murders. She had to break up with her human boyfriend, Detective Charles Rowland, a year ago in order to keep him safe from turning.
But when a new man- a new zombie- enters the morgue, Crystal finds that she might have had more reasons than just life and death that her relationship with Charles didn’t work out. And maybe, just maybe, the new zombie might fill some of the hunger she’s been unable to quench since she died.)
