Summary
After barely surviving a vicious attack, for reasons he can't explain, Kyojuro has moved hours away from his family and friends, to the very same area where he nearly died. No job, no one he knows, nothing except a multitude of chronic pains and issues. On top of that, his bizarre neighbors have decided they dislike him for reasons he doesn't understand. His fresh start isn't exactly going to plan.
It isn't long before a strange local takes an interest in him, and Kyojuro can't help but link him to the creature that almost killed him. As if he needed any other reason to feel like he's slowly losing his mind. But something about Akaza just doesn't feel right, and for all his neighbors' hostility, the Soyamas don't seem to want their estranged family member anywhere near him either.
All Kyojuro wanted was to move on, but the monster responsible for ruining him is refusing to let go.
