Summary:

What if the prophecy had only told half the story? What if Lily Potter had a daughter—Harry’s twin—kept hidden in the shadows?

Violet Potter was never meant to be found, but fate does not ask permission. As war brews and secrets unravel, Violet must navigate the truth of who she is: a girl bound to darkness, tied by blood to both savior and monster. With her brother destined to fight the Dark Lord, Violet’s path winds through shadows of her own—where choices blur, loyalty burns, and survival demands sacrifice.

But in the cold halls of Slytherin, among masks and enemies, Violet finds something she never expected: a boy who sees her. Together, they learn that love and loyalty are forged not in the light, but in the grey spaces between.

Hello! Thank you for being here & reading my story! This isn’t my first stab at Harry Potter FanFic but is my first FINISHED fanfic! 

This idea came to me in a dream haha and I felt so inspired I wanted to write it! 

AU where Harry Potter had a twin sister that Voldy & even Harry didn’t know about!!

Description: 

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this fun fan-fiction! It means the world to me. I have always loved the world of Harry Potter. I’m a long-time Dramoine enjoyer, Draco sympathiser, and overall Slytherin Princess. I dreamt of the premise of this book, and after much deliberating, finally decided to give the story a place to exist. Whether no one reads this, or just 1 person, I am deeply thrilled to be able to give my story a voice. So if you’re here, thank you. 

This is an alternate-universe story where Harry Potter has a secret twin-sister that no one knows about. I try to stay as close to canon as possible, but due to the very nature of this story, I will occasionally stray from canon. This story mainly focuses on our Female Main Character, Violet. She herself is a Slytherin Princess, so we mostly spend time with our beloved fellow Slytherins. There will be VERY MINOR golden trio bashing, as is the nature with Slytherins, but everyone gets a fair shake in my story. 

Please know, if you are here for smut, this is not the place. This is a story about world-expansion, plot, and love. I truly believe that with enough love, we can all help each other be better humans. This story is about the power of love and how it can shape us, mold us, and empower us. Humans are inherently flawed, inherently multi-dimensional, and I try to explore that in a way that is both deeply human and understanding that there IS right and wrong in the world, and there is also grey area. That is what makes life so beautiful and complex. 

The first few chapters will establish our FMC’s time at Hogwarts, but the story picks up the most around the 3rd and 4th year. 

Anyways, with all that being said, please enjoy this story about what the wizarding world would have looked like if the prophecy had not foretold of an unsuspected TWIN SISTER and what her storyline would become.
