Moondae had just woken up from his fever, feeling sluggish all over. He had fallen sick after overworking himself for the past 3 days for their comeback, on top of it imposing himself to a strict weight loss diet following the company's orders.
The outcome wasn't unexpected as he was barely eating anything throughout the day and, taking his daily activities into account it was a miracle that he was able to hold himself together for this long. What was concerning to the Testar members, especially Bae sejin was that even after fainting during their practice session Moondae was fully devoted to the heinous diet which by all means could never have been written by a sane person, and only a suicidal maniac could actually follow it.
Maybe the bunch of people who made the diet and actually approved it were secretly Testar anti's after all. Otherwise the fact that the diet plan actually passed though the company officials and landed in the hand of the least expected member made no sense.
Moondae sat up on his bed after waking up from a long much required nap. Sejin put his hand on the blonde's forehead to measure his temperature.
“Good, your temperature has gone down.”
“Moondae would you like to eat something? Tell me, I'll go and make something for you before leaving.” Aheyon asked as he placed his hand on Moondae's nape to get a better feel of his temperature.
Today Bae sejin and Aheyon were at the dorm to take care of Moondae and other members had gone for the dance practices. Because of the comeback all the members couldn't just take days off so they decided to take turns. Aheyon had a scheduled photoshoot in the late evening so he had to leave.
“Mmm.. hot chocolate…” Moondae mumbled sleepily.
“Hm? Hot chocolate? Sure. Hyung, shall I make some for you as well?”
“I'll pass.”
“Alright.”
“Here.” Ahyeon handed Moondae the hot chocolate and checked his temperature again asking if he's feeling any pain. After some reassurance he left the dorm.
Sejin sat beside Moondae, watching him with content, taking small sips, enjoying it. The silence between them was nothing but comforting. Only the sound of him taking sips and his even breathing could be heard.
Suddenly Moondae jolted upright, his face contorted as if he just remembered something very very important. Sejin immediately moved near him, placing his hand on his back to soothe him, providing comfort against whatever made Moondae jump. His other hand grabbed Moondae's hand which was holding the cup, in an effort to steady it so that it's contents don't spill over him.
“M-moondae?! What happened? Are you okay!?”
“I-I.. no.. I'm not supposed to-to drink this..! This has too many calories in it! And the amount of-”
“….Moondae.”
Sejin put down the glass on the table. He moved his hand to his head to ruffle his hair.
“Aaaa stop doing that! ” with great difficulty he got the older guy to stop messing with his hair.
“Idiot, You scared me for a second!”
Moondae looked up with a frown, which made Sejin giggle. His pouting face along with his disheveled hair and slightly pink blush looked just so precious, it was a sight that'll make anyone's heart squeal. If loviewers ever got to see this sight they'll be cooing in unison.
Please! That diet is stupid and it's harmful! Didn't we tell you that you're not gonna follow it! We will talk to the company about it later so please… just.. don't. You know. . You-you are just so perfect the way you are. So please don't hurt yourself by forcing yourself to follow that shit!!!! “
Sejin ranted everything in one breath while looking straight into Moondae's eyes. Moondae gaped, confused and overwhelmed by his long speech not knowing what to say.
“h-huh…w-wait w-what… hyung- ”
“What I'm saying is that I love you! And it hurts me so much to see you in pain!”
Moondae's eyes grew wider as a deep red blush spread across his cheeks. His beloved hyung had just confessed his love to him!
It was no secret to the same age group line that Moondae had a Liiiittle crush on Bae Sejin the bookworm, the oldest member of Testar. Lee Sejin often teased him about it and Ahyeon always giving him ideas for him to get closer or himself created such situations, after all both of them were totally introverted.
They always supported him.
He always thought that he'd be the one making the confession!
Although Moondae, as being the over-prepared guy, sometimes thought of a scenario where he'd be the one getting a confession and what and how he'd reply to it . But now that is happening for real Moondae was as stiff as a board, still trying to process it.
‘Is this a dream-’ He bit his tongue and it really hurt.’it's not…’
Sejin covered Moondae's eyes with his palm in an effort to hide his profusely blushing face which sent a little electricity down Moondae's spine. His hands were really warm.
“Y-you don't need to reply to my confession … it's not that important, I know you don't feel the same-”
“No! That's not true!” Moondae replied alarmed as he immediately snatched Sejin's hand resting over his eyes.
“H-huh..!?” Sejin stared at him dumbfounded. Moondae quickly looked away mumbling.
“It's not like t-that and I do l-like y-you..”
“Um what did you say?? “
“I said it's not that I don't like you!”
‘Oh God’ Moondae cringed to himself for sounding so tsundere. Bae sejin simply stared at him trying to process his words.
“Moondae”
“...”
“Do you.. lo-...like me? ”
Moondae blushed a deeper shade of red and nodded, keeping his gaze down so as to not meet his eyes.
“...”
“...”
“No wait for real?”
“Mmm”
“A-ah ok!” Sejin blushed in response as he rested his hand on his thighs.
“...”
“...A-Anyways you should finish your drink! Ahyeon sincerely made this for you …”
Bae Sejin hurriedly reached out for the glass and carefully handed it to Moondae.
Moonade looked at the drink in his hand with caution, the look of fear and anxiety, which sejin was familiar with, crawled up upon his face.
“Moondae… don't worry about that stupid diet thing and just eat well. You don't need to worry about whatever the company says to you about it. You don't need to follow it. Chungwoo nim is gonna talk to the company about it in the evening to remove the diet. You never needed one in the first place. Besides, the company has no other option. You fainted yesterday Moondae. They have to remove it. If they don't, I plan to take a legal action against the com-”
“What- no!.um it wasn't the company, I was the one who wanted to go on a diet.”
“What!?”
“I made the diet plan and informed the company.. ”
“Why Moondae..why???”
“I.. just want to make sure that I fit the beauty standards… ”
“...”
“...um-”
“Waht kind of shitty beauty standards Moondae??? You don't need to meet any standards! No- you have already met all the standards! Just who on earth made you think you need to follow any kind of BeAuTy StAnDarD? YOU ARE FREAKIN PERFECT. LOOK AT HOW THIN YOU HAVE BECOME IN THE PAST FEW WEEKS!! Do you want me to repeat why and how much I love you? I will do that hundreds of times for you till you're satisfied! ”
“W-what .. hyung i just-”
“hahh… it is all my fault.. I should've noticed this earlier.. I said I love you but I missed such a thing!? Maybe I should-”
“er- ..um..” Moondae wanted to refute, but hearing him say that he loves him so many times made his brain fuse and he just sat there without saying anything. Warmth spread across his chest and his stomach was doing somersaults, his whole face red and his heart beating so fast that it was too loud for him to hear anything that Sejin said afterwards.
He finally snapped back when he felt Sejin's hand cupping his face looking at him softly that he almost forgot to breathe.
“Moondae”
“yes..”
“Don't follow the diet … please ?” This is cheating. How can Moondae refuse when sejin pulls out this card?! Using his face like that! Ugh!!
“...yes hyung.”
“Now finish your drink or else I'll mouth feed you” Bae Sejin commanded in a serious tone.
“..!?” Moondae stared at him confused at what he just heard. He stared at him for a while
Sejin immediately leaned in and gave a small peck on his lips.
"Now that was a warning Park Moondae. Finish the drink before I actually feed you mouth to mouth.”
At this Moondae blushed harder than before and groaned loudly “Aaaa ok ok! I will! Hyung, since when did you become so assertive and forward!? Were you planning this from the beginning? ”
“Mm… no.. it just c-came out.. ”
Moondae picked up the drink, taking small sips, trying to hide his smile behind the cup.
It seems both of them probably won't be able to sleep tonight. Or rather they'll be sleeping together tonight.
