Notes:
Yay, I like this prompt :) I got really into journaling this year, and I truly believe in my mind that Sam Arondekar is a journal girlie like me. I almost wrote this from her perspective even, but then I remembered Jay's often-referenced "ghost notes" and knew I had to shift gears.

Work Text:
Pete wants to come with me to the Starbucks that used to be an insane asylum. He thinks he can pacify the ghosts there so Sam can get coffee. Good luck with that, buddy.
Just saw Sam walking around with a journal. I hope she’s not making her own ghost notes. This is how I keep myself useful!
Gabe walked through Flower and then was actually productive for about twenty minutes. Further testing required.
False alarm: Sam was just bringing out the guestbook. I always forget that we have that thing. Why does no one ever want to sign it?
Notes:
For the record I'm not a fan of the idea that ghosts from a mental institution would be scary or dangerous, but I'm leaning into what the show's told me.
