Summary
Ferrah enjoyed her quiet life in Alaska, having taken over her father's piloting business. Except her life changes when her plane malfunctions and she makes an emergency landing in uncharted territory -- but that's not where her trouble ends. The last thing she remembers is a bright light -- then waking up in a tube, alone. Where she is certainly reminds her of Alaska, but she quickly learns, that's not the case. Zaxier is one of the single hunters of the Sa'Khui, and he has resigned himself to being alone. Except, he's grown used to the solitude and enjoys spending his days on the trails, traveling around to each hunter cave. Even when 11 strange humans show up on this planet, he avoids the urge to find a resonance mate. Except when his path crosses with another strange creature, he's determined to track and kill it. He's set on defending.
