"Hank, will you always be here?" Charles whispers.
"Of course,” Hank answers as if it’s absolutely evident.
"Why?"
This time, Hank doesn't open his lips. Charles gets closer to him, using his arms to move on the bed. He smiles at him, stretches out a hand and barely strokes the scientist's prickly chin with the tip of his fingers. Hank shivers but doesn't do anything to stop him. Charles leans a bit more until their breaths skim on each other’s faces before he asks:
"Can I kiss you?"
