Work Text:

"Who orders six shots of espresso in the afternoon..?" Shadow wondered aloud as he looked at the latest coffee order.

The Mean Bean Café was doing well, and working (and living) with Stone proved to be very beneficial. Still, sometimes customers were weird.

His confusion immediately dissipated as he brought the coffee to the counter and saw the familiar blue quills of Sonic Wachowski.

Of course.

"Here's your glorified heart attack" Shadow deadpanned as he handed the coffee across the counter to the other hedgehog. Sonic just chuckled and winked at him before speeding away.

Shadow swore he felt his heart skip a beat but, for once, it wasn't anxiety or anger.

What is this hedgehog doing to me?
