IN WHICH KAKASHI AND SATORU CONQUERS THE WORLD

Summary:

"Ignoring me won't make me go away~!"

"..."

"I know you are reincarnated just like me!"

"..."

"You should feel honored to be born as my twin. After all, I am the honored one."

Oh great. Annoying and a massive ego.

"I'm trying to sleep." He glares at the other.

"I knew it!" Satoru beams. "I knew you were just like me!"

"Yeah, and?"

"What's your name? Are you also a sorcerer who died by Sukuna's hand? What's your curse technique? Do you have a domain?"

Who? What? "No, I'm a ninja who died in his sleep." Kakashi wonders what happened to Gai. Did he find Kakashi's dead body lying next to him? Kakashi's mood instantly plummeted at that.

"Oh." The other slumped in disappointment. "That's lame."

"Yes, yes." Kakashi readily agrees. "I'm lame, I'm actually a total loser, so you can just scamper now. Bye."

"No, no no." His blanket was pulled back roughly. "I won't accept this, I won't have it! My baby brother can't be lame! I'll teach you!"

Chapter 1

Notes:

This is just something for fun, so please don't take this too seriously. I have a weird sense of humor that's not funny at all, so please forgive me if this turns out unfunny.

Enjoy!

Chapter Text

Kakashi didn't remember dying. He must have died in his sleep then. That was his thought as he stared blankly at the faces of two people who could only be his parents. The poor souls, being so happy to have babies, only for one of them to turn out to be a reincarnated old man.

He turned his head to stare at his 'twin' and froze. The abnormally blue eyes are not normal. They are intelligent and hyperaware, and if Kakashi is being honest, quite unnerving, as if they are staring at his very soul. Kakashi doesn't like being psychoanalyzed, so he faked a yawn and closed his eyes, leaning on his supposed father to get away from his 'twin'.

"They're perfect." His father whispers, holding onto him as if he's the most precious thing in the world. It makes Kakashi even more guilty. Perhaps he can try to be extra nice to them, try to be the ideal son who never causes trouble. Kakashi will be extra nice because he has a feeling that his 'twin' is the troublesome kind.

"They look just like you, Aki!" His mother giggles, like a teenager in love. Actually, how old are they? They look relatively young. Kakashi hopes they're not actual teenagers.

"But they certainly have your nose, my love." His father, Aki, responds, clearly not wanting to be the loser in this sappy competition of glazing your partner.

"That's definitely your eyebrows and lashes, darling."

"Oh, Haru~♡" Kakashi felt himself being squished to his 'twin' as the two went all lovey-dovey. Just great.

So...his parents are young but not young enough to be teenage parents; they're actually relatively loaded, having a sizable trust fund from their parents, who own several businesses. He's old money rich. That's good news.

On the other hand, he was right; his twin is a fussy little thing that demands all attention at all times. Kakashi doesn't mind that; he's not high maintenance. As long as he has a roof over his head, he's fed and clean, then he has no problem at all. What the problem was not the fussiness of his twin but rather...

"Hey, are you ignoring me?" Satoru whines, shaking his shoulder from where he's pretending to be asleep. They were in different bassinets, and yet the other somehow managed to be annoying. Standing and walking at barely 6 months old, and the first thing he does is bother Kakashi. He can't even get a single moment of peace. "I know you understand me, Kakashi."

Somehow, despite the change of surname to Yukimura, he retained his old given name; he's more than sure the same was applied to his 'twin'.

"Ignoring me won't make me go away~!"

"No, no no." His blanket was pulled back roughly. "I won't accept this, I won't have it! My baby brother can't be lame! I'll teach you!"

And from there, Kakashi's life knew no peace. Well, he's supposed it was good while it lasted...

"An ocular quirk?"

Superheroes, of course. Of course, he can't just be born in a normal world without superpowers at all. Kakashi knew the moment he saw a mirror and saw the Mangekyo Sharingan that his seemingly normal life was over, but hey, a guy can wish, you know?

"Yes, to both of them." The quirk doctor nods, looking through their chart. "They are different from one another, so they have different abilities as we've tested." Kakashi stared at the doctor without blinking. "Kakashi-kun has intangibility and the ability to make things disappear."

The doctor turns to his twin. "And Satoru-kun can't be touched at all and teleport."

"I see." His mother nods, "I thought so too when they were born, they have such unique eyes, but neither Aki nor I have such powerful quirks, so..."

"There are some cases in which the kids do not inherit their parents' quirk and develop another one," The doctor reassures his parents. "Although they are different, they seem to have a commonality of enhanced perception, which is what's causing the eye pain. It seems to also be quite draining for them, which is probably what causes lethargy in Kakashi."

"So his frequent naps are him trying to recover his strength? Is there another way, Kimura-sensei? They're almost of school age now and..." His father asks in concern, looking at him with such worry that he felt another stab of guilt. Only half of his naps were because of the Sharingan draining him; the others were just to escape Satoru and interacting with his clingy relatives.

"I'm afraid not, and since this is still early on, they're most likely to just grow even stronger and perhaps develop more powers; only time could tell." He rummaged through something in his drawer, a pen and paper. "I can recommend some medications and vitamins, but I think something to block their eyes from seeing too much could be beneficial to both of them."

"I see."

"We could get glasses!" Satoru cheerily suggested. "And then blindfold as we get older!" Why does it feel like he's winning something?

"But I want a face mask." Kakashi whines, making sure to turn on the puppy eyes he learned from Pakkun. "I have a sensitive nose, Daddy."

"You can just practice that," Satoru argues. "Our eyes are more important right now, especially yours; it's draining you after all."

"It causes me headaches."

"Your eyes can cause more than that."

"Well," The doctor cuts in before they could argue further. "We can arrange for an olfactory training session for you. There are a lot of quirks that relate to sensitive noses, so we can try and have you do that."

"Really? We'll do that, anything for my baby!" His father readily agreed.

The traitor.
