    Rowena had taken him away for the weekend. There'd been a theatre performance she'd wanted to see, and she'd booked a hotel for two nights, giving herself some time to relax and enjoy the spa treatments that were offered.

    The production was an excuse to get away; in the four months that she'd been trying to have a baby, nothing had happened yet. She knew it was early, and that with how regularly she was having sex, it would happen, but she wanted it already. She wanted to be pregnant. Getting away, she hoped to relax, to take her mind off it, and maybe something would happen without the stress.
