Sonar had been disappearing in periodically throughout his shift he had figured out how to turn off the tracking device that the SDN had which wasn't that hard he should probably tell someone about that, but it would just make him disappearing much harder, he never did it if there was any active missions just when it was slow, he had to check on his newborn, since he hadn't told anyone about her since he didn't know how to bring it up or even ask for what type of leave he needed to take care of a fresh crotch goblin, because he did not want to explain how he acquired one. He had paid his one of his old friends to babysit while he was working but you still couldn't be at peace being away from his baby longer than for a few hours he didn't understand it but he had a feeling that it was something to do with the bat DNA that showed it's ugly head in any part of his life that he really didn't want it to he felt terrible because he did pass down some bat traits to the young one like bat ears, and being nearly completely blind. He carefully snuck into the baby room and reached out to move some of her hair out of her face, "oh my dearest Helena, how do I tell them about you" he whispered softly not expecting an answer from the sleeping baby, he couldn't stay for too long before Robert started to spam him with calls he lowered himself to be closer to Helena and placed a gentle kiss upon her head, before leaving to go back to work.
Once he was back in range and in route of going back to the building he turned back on the tracking device and unmuted himself and undeafen his boss and teammates, "What's up" he said as if he hadn't been missing for 20 minutes "Boy where have you been we're having a meeting with blonde Blazer in five" Prism voice what's the loudest out of everyone who had began to speak all at once he went softly as he landed in front of the SDN building as he fixed his tie and suit from being in his monstrous platform at times like this he really appreciated the fact he was covered in a lot of fur even as his hybrid form so it covers his breast that had swollen up with milk even though he couldn't properly breast feed Helena from the fact she was already getting fangs and had drawn blood from his tits multiple time, "I'm coming I'm coming don't worry about it" he said my snappily than he was meaning to he was just tired and upset about being away from Helena, "boy I know you didn't not just take the tone with me" Prism said in that tone that meant she meant business and son I was most definitely going to be harassed until he apologized later, "hey hey no fighting over coms" Robert voice put it in before sonar could give a retort to Prism comment.
