Chapter Text
*Knock knock*
"Damian, are you up yet? Get ready quickly!"
Damian let out a groan. He really didn't want to get up, get ready for school, see Drake. It's awful. Everytime he's not conscious he forgets the reality they are in. It feels like he's still in Gotham, not some random world. He misses his mother, grandfather, LOA, father. Father..he was just getting to know him and now he's in this shitty world with who? Drake. Whom he's supposed to kill to prove his place in the family. But now he's supposed to live with him in this strange world alone. It's so infuriating.
Damian shut his ears up. "I don't need school. I'm far superior than what they could teach!"
Damian could already imagine Drake rolling his eyes.
"I know you dont need it or whatever but please just go...You cant not go to school. It's suspicious. Also it would-"
Damian opened the door aggressively and jumped onto Drake. Then he started to strangle him. Drake quickly caught Damian hand and pinned him down.
"Damian we talked about this! You can't live in this world alone so quit trying to kill me. I'm trying to help you here!"
Drake coldly said those world while slowly releasing Damian.
"I can survive on my own fine!"
"Yeah right. CPS is gonna have a field day with a 10 year old child."
"I'm eleven!"
Drake rolled his eyes and turned his back on Damian. Damian couldn't understood how could he turned his back on him. He could kill him. Or maybe he's confident Damian will fail to assassinate him.
"Look we don't know when they will rescue us and we dont have any way of going back. So let's try not to cause any trouble here? We don't even know if we can get back so let's... Let's try to adjust here."
Damian hated every single word that came out of Drake's mouth. He didn't wanna stay here any longer. He wanted to go home. Where was his home anyway. In league of assassin or in Gotham? He just got to meet his father. He... was not what he expected but still he wanted to prove himself to him. That's why he needed to prove Father he didn't need any of those uncultured people as his child. He was his blood son, only he was worthy of his legacy. And to do so he needed to kill the current Robin to prove that. But now he has to accept that hypothetically that he might spend the rest of his life with him alone in this strange world. It's bullshit.
It's been two months already. And Damian is spent. He's tried. Now he needs to go to some public school with idiots because it's suspicious of him to stay at home 24/7? Bullshit.
Drake gave him a look and sighed. How dare he look at him like that.
"Damian I promise you I also dont want any of this but just go? Do you want someone to call cps on us and govt finding about us? Finding out some fictional characters came to life? They probably won't believe us. Most probably they will separate us when they find out both of us are minor. And put us in a system. Do you want that? It's safer to stay together if B comes to find us."
Damian looked down and greeted his teeth.
"I'll kill you when we get back."
"Sure.."
Then Damian turned and went inside his room to get ready for his first day at elementary school. How shameful he thinks.
