“Why did you force us to do this? We literally had a slumber party last night,” Jiro questioned.
“You and I did. But this Girl’s Night, not Bakusquad night,” Mina answered.
“Am I going to have to listen to you go on about Valentine’s Day again?” Jiro asked.
“I didn’t talk about it that much,” Mina argued.
“You went on for an hour and a half. You literally put the boys to sleep.”
“Fine, I won’t go on a tangent. I’m still gonna you girls if you have crushes though!”
“Why would we answer that? You seem the type to blab about it, ribbet,” Tsu joined.
“I know Kaminari’s crush, and I haven’t told anyone who it is,” Mina retorted.
“You don’t even need to tell me,” Hagakure cut in. “It’s pretty easy to guess.”
“Is it?” Ochaco said. “Because I have no idea.”
“We’re getting off topic! We don’t need to talk about Kaminari’s crush. I want to know yours,” Mina interrupted.
“I’d prefer not to talk about this,” Jiro admitted. “I’d like to keep that information to myself, thank you.”
“YOU HAVE A CRUSH?!” Mina exclaimed. Jiro cringed as the noise vibrated through her jacks.
“Squeal that louder, I don’t think the boys heard you,” Jiro grumbled.
“Sorry! But you have a crush?!”
“Even if I did, I wouldn’t tell you.”
“Fine, I’ll move on for now. Uraraka, you like Midoriya, right?”
“What?” Uraraka’s face turned bright red. “What, no! What gave you that idea! We’re just friends, I don’t like Deku that way!”
“Says the girl, blushing and floating away,” Mina giggled. Uraraka was already on the ceiling, covering her blushing face.
“Oh, leave her alone, Mina,” Momo stated.
“Yao-momo, do you have any Valentine’s Day plans?” Mina turned to her.
“I was planning to spend the day reading a romance novel,” Momo responded.
“I’m going to celebrate with my family after school,” Tsu added.
“Me, Sero, and Kirishima were planning to hang out. We’re trying to get Bakugo to come with us too,” Mina revealed.
“I don’t know what I’m doing, honestly,” Jiro said.
“Me and Ojiro are going out,” Hagakure stated casually. It took a moment before Mina processed the words.
“What?! Girl, why didn’t you tell me!” Mina exclaimed.
Hagakure giggled. “I asked him out only about an hour ago, chill.”
“And he said yes?!”
“Yep!”
Mina squealed more, and wrapped Hagakure into a hug. “I’m so happy for you, girl!”
The rest of the girls also gave congratulations to Hagakure for being the first girl in the class to ask someone out.
“What are you two planning to do?” Momo asked curiously.
“We were planning on spending the day at the amusement park, then maybe going out to dinner,” Hagakure answered. “Neither of us have been to the amusement park yet, so we thought it’d be fun to try together.”
“Awww, that’s so cute! And the amusement park is so much fun!” Mina responded, remembering when she and Kirishima had gone. [haha, a reference to one of my other one shots]
The conversation moved to focus on asking Hagakure more about her date with Ojiro. Kyoka, however, was lost in thought about Kaminari again. Specifically, he had complimented her earlier today and it kept replaying in her head.
“You know, you have a really nice smile,” Denki had told her out-of-the-blue when they were talking. Jiro felt herself smiling thinking about it.
“Hello? Earth to Jiro!” Mina’s hand waved obnoxiously in front of her face.
“Ack! What?” Jiro startled.
“I was trying to ask everyone what snacks they wanted for the movie,” Mina stated.
“Oh, uh, popcorn’s the best movie snack, so some of that would be fine,” Jiro replied. Mina nodded, and she was soon out the room.
“Sooooooo, were you thinking about Kaminari?” Jiro could hear the smirk in Hagakure’s voice.
Jiro felt herself blush. “Why would I be thinking about him?”
“Because you totally like him!” Hagakure responded. “And you two have gotten pretty close recently.”
“They have?” Ochaco asked.
“If a first-name basis is anything to go by, then yeah,” Toru answered. Jiro blushed harder.
“You and Kaminari are on a first-name basis?” Ochaco turned to Jiro. “Since when?”
“Um… since the night I went on a date with that stupid second-year,” Kyoka admitted. “But since we didn’t want Mina freaking out, we still call each other by our last names when in front of people. Actually, Hagakure, how did you find out?”
“When you were sick a little while ago, I heard Kaminari say ‘Feel better, Kyoka’,” Hagakure explained.
“Hey guys, I brought the snacks!” Mina re-entered the room.
“Great, let’s get this movie started!” Ochaco replied.
And so they all sat and watched a cheesy romcom together. They kept laughing at how bad it was. The acting, the story, everything sucked. But making fun of the movie was super fun.
Afterward, they put on another movie but most of the girls fell asleep to it. Only Jiro and Hagakure were awake now.
“You know, I feel like I should thank you for not talking about me and Denki’s first-name basis in front of Mina. She would have freaked,” Jiro whispered.
“You’re welcome!”
