   Summary

   An overcrowded van rolled into the parking lot, screeching like it was on its last legs. One of the guards, a rather disheveled man in khaki uniform, asked for the ID cards. One by one, the boys handed the card to the driver, who then handed it to the guard. The guard then took all of the cards to a computer terminal, which would have looked odd if the boy in the left backseat hadn't been from the city. The terminal ate the ID cards and read all of the boy's name until it got to him.
