Summary
Diego is a stoner punk from Los Angeles who just wants to play his bass, be a homosexual, and gain back the 30 pounds he keeps losing whenever he puts music before making enough money to keep his cupboards full – he just never feels quite like himself at 250 pounds.
His band, The Vents, has been having fun experimenting on both ends of punk's rapidly widening divide between fun synth pop and harder, angrier violence, but lately the punk scene has come with a sour taste. He barely knows Ira, the bassist and frontman of one of the newer bands in town, so Diego doesn’t get why this short, angry (annoyingly hot) punk seems to have something very specific against him. But with The Vents scheduled to play a show with Ira's band tomorrow, Diego will just have to hope that with enough weed and sandwiches, he can keep from letting Ira under his skin.
