Summary
Harry Potter had some stupid jobs in his career with the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, mostly because he was the youngest and newest blood in the department after Ron moved to a more… strategic division after a year of their partnership. Hell, he had even handled being partners with Draco Malfoy of all people for the last three years with a surprising amount of grace. Though he would be the first to admit that as an adult, his partner was drastically different from the boy he’d known in school. All that to say, he’d thought he could handle almost everything the job could throw at him.
This, however, was a completely new low in his career: guard duty. Not some high-profile diplomat or some Wizengamot witness. Not even a rogue Death Eater waiting on a fair trial. No. This was barely even guard duty. It was glorified babysitting. And the charge was carefree partyboy Theodore Nott, of all people. What on earth could Nott even be doing to warrant the Minister of Magic himself issuing the task to Harry?~~or~~
Harry has to guard Theodore Nott from numerous assailants while protecting his work.
