    "Enchanté, Monsieur," Lestat breathes, stepping back to admire his handiwork. "You look very handsome, Gabrielle. How do you feel?"

    Gabrielle snatches up the shirt and pulls it on over her head, and the transformation is instant. There is suddenly a cocksure young man wearing her face, settling her features into an arrogance she would never dare.

    She turns to Lestat and sweeps into a courtly bow before taking his hand to kiss. Her eyes well with grateful tears, overwhelmed in the moment with the feeling of being comfortable in her body for the very first time. "I feel…correct."

    In which Lestat and Gabrielle play dress up, and discover a lot about themselves in the process.
