“Alex so what is this holiday again???” Elias asked.
”It’s a holiday I learned about when I went to America,” Alexander stopped walking, “it’s a holiday where you think about what you’re grateful for and have dinner with your family.”
”Ok so is this why you want both our families to have dinner at your house?”
”Yeah.” Alexander rolled his eyes and started walking again.
”So what’s this holiday called again?” Elias sped up to catch up to Alexander.
”Thanksgiving.”
After a couple more blocks, they both reached their houses. “Ok see you in an hour mon petit copain.” Alexander kissed his cheek.
”See you later Alex.”
Elias went inside his house and found his parents and brother in the living room.
Elias quickly explained what Thanksgiving was and suddenly he got a call from Alexander.
”Change of plans Elias, my dad needs help cooking a- DAD DON’T BAKE THE PIE FIRST, THAT’S DESSERT. Um sorry about that babe,” Elias blushed when he heard that, “just bring your family over now, we need major help.” Alexander hung up the phone.
”MOM! DAD! Alexander and his dad need help cooking!” Elias yelled, “We need to go now!”
Elias and his family arrived at Alexander’s house and were quickly let in by his sister.
They could see Alexander’s dad running around and they quickly rushed in to help.
“Thank goodness Alexander brought help. Cooking is stressing me out.” Alexander’s dad said as he turned on the oven.
Elias went around the counter to hug Alexander, “Did you know I love a boyfriend that can cook for me?” Elias kissed his neck.
”Elias I can’t move my arms.” Alexander said unfazed.
“I don’t care.”
”Thanks for helping Elias or should I say, Chef Montero.” Alexander kissed Elias and Elias’s face flushed red.
”Y-you’re welcome.” Elias wriggled out of his bear hug and grasped his hand.
Elias led Alexander to the dinner table and everyone was already seated.
They both sat down and suddenly Alexander got up, “Before we start I’d like to say my thanks. I’m thankful for everyone here for helping to make this dinner possible. I’m thankful for my family and my other family. Lastly, most of all, I’m thankful for my beautiful boyfriend.” Elias blushed again as Alexander kissed him and sat down.
Elias was also very thankful for his family, friends, and boyfriend.
