Summary
A butch vampire warlock who lives in a castle by the sea, looks down at the choppy water during a storm to see a body lying unconscious in the wet sand. She ran down with her book if spells to recussitate the creature with magic, and upon meeting- meets a femme mermaid. The tumultuous waves suddenly separate the two and rips the pages apart under the water. Even though interacting is forbidden between the land-dwellers and mermaids, they're both willing to risk life as they know it to see each other again.
