Look Darling, It's Snowing!

Summary:

Geto loves the snow. Gojo doesn't. But he loves his boyfriend enough that he's willing to go out into the snow with him, just this once (more than once)

---

"What's up?" Satoru asked, cocking his head to the side, his white hair falling into his face. "You're super smiley today. Not that I'm complaining. You're just grinning a lot."

Suguru laughed softly. Then he walked over to the kitchen window, then drew back the curtains.

"Look 'Toru! It's snowing!"

Work Text:

The cold morning air wafted through the windows, filling the bedroom with a chill that caused Satoru to shiver. He was only partly awake, but he could feel the warmth of his boyfriend, Suguru's, body beside him. He subconsciously rolled closer, seeking said warmth.

It was too cold for him, despite it being early November. Satoru just hated the cold in general, if he was being honest. And he also wasn't the warmest person ever, unlike Suguru.

Suguru was always warm, somehow, and it was one of Satoru's favourite things about him. He could just curl into his boyfriend's warmth whenever it was too cold in the mornings or at night.

"Mmm… morning 'Toru." Suguru mumbled, slinging an arm around Satoru's waist, pulling him closer, and making him automatically warmer. "Cold?"

"…mhm." replied the white haired man, burying his face into the curse user's chest. "And 'm tired."

"It's almost eight in the morning, you do know we have to wake up eventually, right?" Suguru remarked, reaching up to run a hand through Satoru's fluffy hair. The sorcerer shivered at the contact, but also from the cold.

Why was it so cold? Didn't they have heaters? They were most certainly supposed to. Maybe it broke, or something. Because in all of his years, it had never been this cold.

Satoru also just enjoyed whining and complaining.

Because it got him special treatment.

Especially from his boyfriend.

"I 'on wanna." Satoru groaned, melting further into Suguru's arms, trying to stop him from trying to get up. He didn't want to get up yet. Getting up would mean being cold again. It would also mean having to face the day.

He didn't want to do that.

Satoru eventually got up, but only because Suguru made him do so. He's protested quite a bit, whining and complaining about being cold, but the curse user hadn't wanted to hear any of it.

"You have to get up. I told you that almost half an hour ago. Up and at 'em!" Suguru said, clapping his hands. Satoru had no choice but to get up, as his boyfriend had exited the bed, depriving the sorcerer of the warmth he wanted so damn badly.

But, the world seemed to have other plans.

"Satoru! Breakfast!" Suguru called from the kitchen. Despite waking up, Satoru was still sitting in his bed, scrolling through his phone. At least the blankets were keeping him warm somehow. He was waiting for coffee from Suguru, which would warm him up.

He went downstairs immediately, wanting the delicious coffee that his boyfriend made.

It was practically the same as any other coffee, but when Suguru made it it tasted better. It always tasted better when Suguru made it.

And, Suguru knew how Satoru wanted it, down to the measurements of the sugar and the cream.

And Satoru would make Suguru's when he was done drinking his own.

It was an exchange that they took part in every morning, though they often partook in that tradition much earlier in the morning. It was winter break, so they were able to sleep in without worrying about being late to teach their respective classes.

Satoru was still going to visit Megumi and Yuuji today, planning to take them out for a dinner at KFC as an early Christmas dinner, as he was spending Christmas with Suguru.

But he had the rest of the day until then to hang out with Suguru.

When Satoru got downstairs, as expected, Suguru was holding his cup of coffee. But he was also smiling much wider than he normally was, which told Satoru that something was up, or that something good had happened.

God, Satoru could stare at Suguru forever when he smiled like that. It was ridiculous how gorgeous Suguru was, to be honest. Especially when he had his hair down like he did right now. Not that he wasn't pretty with his hair up (no, Satoru adored it that way), there was just something so soft about the look of Suguru when he had his long black hair down.

"Your coffee." Suguru said, placing a kiss onto Satoru's lips as the sorcerer approached him. Satoru took the coffee, humming into the kiss. "G'morning."

"'mornin. Thanks." Satoru said, sipping his coffee happily.

Suguru was still smiling like an idiot.

Oh.

Oh.

Suguru loved snow. He adored it, actually. Unlike Satoru, who hated being cold, Suguru loved the feeling of the shivery ice powder on his skin. If it was up to Satoru, he would stay inside all winter. But he loved Suguru too much to stay inside when his boyfriend loved spending time in the snow.

And… it was the first snow of the year.

No wonder Suguru was so excited.

He loved winter. So damn much. Satoru didn't get it, but he played along to the best of his abilities, of course. He wanted his boyfriend to be happy.

"Snow, mm?" Satoru said, walking toward the window to look out.

Indeed, sparkling flecks were falling from the cloudy sky, coating the ground outside in a relatively thick sheet of white powder. It was beautiful, Satoru couldn't deny that. It was just too cold.

"Yeah! Snow! It's snowing!" Suguru said excitedly, running over to the door and throwing on his coat and scarf. He burst outside, laughing like an idiot.

Satoru grabbed his own coat before following the curse user outside, coffee cup still in hand. Suguru flopped back onto the snow covered grass, still giggling uncontrollably.

Satoru leaned against the doorframe, smiling softly. He loved it when Suguru was happy.

"Having fun?" Satoru asked, approaching his boyfriend so he could look down at him.

"Yes! Of course I'm having fun! It's snowing!"

"Yeah, I know. I know you love snow. And I'm glad you do because I love to see you happy."

Satoru really, really did.
