Naruto still has nightmares. He is still dealing with the trauma that Sai left behind, though he is determined not to show it. He won't let Sasuke in.
Sasuke's trying his best. He's trying to help his best friend cope and get back to 'normal', though he doesn't know if that's possible. He struggling to break down Naruto's walls.
Both boys are leaning on one another as they walk down the path of recovery and understanding. It's a challenge for both of them as nothing in life is ever easy.

And he was right. Naruto thought for a moment. They both looked out to the sunset on the hill. The only things worth seeing in Konoha were the lush forests and the setting summer sun. A breeze blew past the two boys, rustling hair and billowing loose clothes.

Naruto blinked. "What..?"
Sasuke stormed up to him, eyes burning as Naruto quickly backed up, trying to get away from him. He grabbed the blonde, spun him around, and held his head in place as he forced him to look in the mirror.
“That" he said coldly. "Tell me how that happened."
Naruto tried to turn his head away, but Sasuke's grip tightened, keeping him locked in place. "Let go" he breathed.
Sasuke’s eyes hardened as he stared back at the blonde’s pained reflection. "You will tell me what happened to you", he said firmly.
“One way or another."
