Summary
It’s been almost one year since the Winterman case was closed. The people of Broadchurch are healing, but some wounds are so deep that they leave a scar. Beth Latimer is a testament of this. On the anniversary of Danny's death date Beth is divorced and sitting alone on the beach where his body was found. Alec Hardy just so happens to be there as well. After years of gaining new scars from trauma after trauma, will Alec and Beth help each other re-learn what is like to be loved and happy. This is a story of two people who have been through a lot but with help from friends and each other they just might finally heal. It won't be simple nor easy but in the end they will be glad to have each other and the happiness they've carved out together.
