Summary
This is not a story about winning. This is a story about losing, but not as you know it.
In the movies, stories have certainty. Clean cut; a win or a loss. You know who the good guys are, and there’s a comfort in understanding the stakes of these things. In the aftermath of the fire, our girls are caught in a fraught, unforgiving maelstrom of consequences that have no easy fix. They're faced with a choice. To fight together, for each other and themselves? Or to let it slip, and watch it all return to ash?
This is a story about the complexities of a life scraped together in a world that is constantly trying to eat you alive. A story of resilience, love, friendship, and about our actions in the face of brutal injustice.
