Summary
Gi-hun told himself he never cared about being a “typical” omega, not after society had already deemed his failure as one. Unmated, washed up and living alone, he’s just doing his best to get by, having to pose as a beta in order to keep a steady job – trying not to think too much about his mounting pile of debts, his failed relationships, or the fact that his daughter is growing up too fast before he has a chance to catch up.
His carefully built routine is soon disrupted when he takes on a new client – Hwang In-ho, an uptight, arrogant alpha who seems determined to make his job as difficult as possible. Gi-hun’s determination to keep his head down and ignore him soon becomes easier said than done when he’s faced with a sudden and unexpectedly brutal heat, forcing him to rely on the alpha he hates so much.
