Summary
Hermione, as usual, has done the impossible. She has found a cure for the obliviate spell, and she is eager to present her findings to the wizarding world at large. The problem is, the wizarding world reacts to this discovery in the only way the wizarding world can--pure mayhem. Hermione is attacked when presenting her research at St. Mungo's, and she finds herself rescued by a masked man in tactical gear. Only, he's using a gun... and a wand?
Draco has been forced into servitude along with every other child of the death eaters. It wasn't a choice to join the underground task force, but he does rather excel at it. As he does. The Knights, all of whom go by code names and operate in the shadows, carry out their orders with deadly precision. They do not usually play bodyguard to other witches and wizards.
Hermione is the exception. Draco is tasked with keeping Hermione alive, protecting her from what seems to be a muggle army. Or zombies. They're not exactly sure. Only, Hermione has no idea who is behind the mask. All she knows is that a Knight has been sent to her flat, H3. And she's stuck with him.
