"Hey Gakushuu!" Karma called out teasingly from across the table. Asano continued talking to Ren like nothing was happening. Karma frowned. "Ugh, ignoring me." Karma complained. "So lame."
"Just because you can't go a minuet without attention." Rio shook her head condescendingly. "Hey Gakushuu!" She joined in anyway because she was loyal.
Eventually, Asano took notice, just not in the way they expected. "Who's attention are you trying to get now?" He huffed.
"Yours? Obviously?" Karma frowned.
"You didn't call my name though."
"I did?" Karma said slowly. "I just called you by your first name."
"Oh right. What do you want then?"
"Why didn't you respond to your first name?"
"Why did you call me by my first name?"
"As a prank. Your turn."
"I don't know, I just don't often hear my first name used."
"So you don't even know your first name?"
"I do, I just don't respond to it."
Silence across the table.
"You are weird and traumatised. Go see a therapist." Karma said eventually. Asano rolled his eyes. "I'm serious! You have serious identity issues."
"It's normal."
"It most certainly is not!"
"Even if it wasn't, does the principal seem like the type to send his son to therapy?"
"And now you're speaking in third person."
"That was intentional."
"Whatever."
