Work Text:
“Now that'll do it, won't it Jimmy.” Asked Judy as she set down her piping bag on the counter. The chocolate cake sat on the desert plate Mrs. Barten pulled out for her children. They had asked if they could bake a chocolate cake, their reasoning was that it was the first snow fall of the season. How that determines they need to bake a cake, she'll never know.
“It sure does look mighty delicious Judy. I could think it was from the Goodie Goodie Grove if I didn't know better.” Replied Jimmy to his sister.
“Think we did Jack well Jimmy?”
“Of course Judy! He wanted to learn how to frost a cake and we did our best.”
“I guess you're right about that.” Judy then turned and picked up a cake knife and smiled at Jimmy.
“Well no use fretting about it, now, let's eat!”
And then that night the snow seemed to be a bit more silver and a little bit more lively. Jack Frost must have been mighty pleased.
