   Summary

   
   Ilya has imagined a million different scenarios in the time that he’s been here. Ones where Shane wakes up but can’t talk anymore, ones where he wakes up and needs to relearn everything, ones where he wakes up and there’s nerve damage and Shane has to give up doing what he loves. He thinks about his father a lot when he imagines these scenarios. Of having to take care of Shane the same way he took care of him. He doesn’t really mind. Will do it happily, no matter what scenario Shane wakes up to. The only scenario he cannot imagine, cannot ever be fine with, is Shane not waking up at all.
