Work Text:
Clint sat in his cell bored out of his mind. Steve had tried to rescue them but ultimately failed and now he was locked up with everyone else. It wasn’t surprising to Clint that the only fugitive Avenger not here was Natasha. She was good at it, not getting caught. So when the guards came in dragging an unconscious, bloodied, and bruised Natasha, he was surprised to say the least.
“The hell did you do to her?!” Clint yelled seeing blood dripping from Natasha’s side, coating the floor in red.
Steve then spoke up, “Someone get her medical attention!”
The guards dragging her along didn’t answer and just dropped her in her cell with a thud. They then closed the door and left, showing no signs that they were going to patch up Natasha.
“I can’t see her, is she alright?” Sam asked, being in the cell next to her.
A weak and feeble voice was then heard, “Я в порядке. Резервная копка уже в пути.” <I’m fine. Backup is on the way.> Natasha groaned and moved to lay on her back, putting pressure to the stab wound above her hip. She knew it was a risk, purposely surrendering herself to Ross. But after she found out Steve got caught trying to rescue the fugitive Avengers, she knew she had to do something. So Natasha told Yelena her plan, and they immediately got to work.
Steve then questioned, “Anyone know what she said?”
Clint responded, “Yeah.. she said she’s fine and that backup is coming.” Uncertainty in his tone, confused as to why Natasha spoke in Russian. “Nat, what happened?” Clint asked, worried. After a minute of silence he asked again, “Natasha speak to me, are you okay?”
Natasha didn't respond, and just continued to stare up at the ceiling. She was already weak from the blood loss, and didn’t want to waste her strength on speaking. A couple more minutes pass with Clint still trying to coax an answer out of her. He knew Natasha was awake, he could see her eyes open and listening.
Suddenly an alarm went off, blaring noisily. Bang! Bang! Gunshots, who was here, Clint wondered? It couldn’t be Bucky, Steve said he was in Wakanda. And it definitely wasn’t Tony, he was the one who put them in the raft in the first place. Before he could ponder further, three women walked in. A blonde went straight for Natasha, opening the cell door and kneeling next to her.
“Эти ублюдки,” <Those bastards,> Yelena cursed as she saw the state Natasha was in. “Sonya, Katerina, release everyone else. I’ll get Natasha to the jet.” Yelena exclaimed, picking Natasha’s limp body up off the ground. She then hurried outside where Antonia was standing next to the jet.
“Is Natalia okay?” Antonia asked, noticing she was limp in Yelena’s arms.
“No. Get the medical supplies.” Yelena ordered while placing Natasha on the center table.
Sonya and Katerina then entered the jet with Clint, Steve, Sam, and Wanda in tow. Clint immediately tried to go to Natasha’s side but Sonya raised her gun, protective of the one who helped save her from the Red Room’s control.
Natasha, using the last of her energy said, “Stand down and get us the hell out of here.”
Sonya glanced at the sisters and Yelena nodded her head. Sonya then lowered her gun and went to the cockpit to fly them out of there. After that, Clint quickly rushed to Natasha’s side and held her hand. Antonia returned with the medical supplies in her arms and placed them next to Natasha accordingly. Clint eyed Antonia wearily, she had burn scars on the entirety of her right side of her face and honestly looked quite young. He didn’t know how to feel with this battle scarred and blonde women taking care of Natasha as if they knew her for years.
Katerina then appeared next to Wanda with some tools, but it made Wanda flinch away in fear. Katerina said in a calm voice, “Я не собираюсь причинять тебе боль. I can get the collar off.” <I’m not going to hurt you.>
Wanda then nodded and let Katerina get to work and almost immediately the collar around Wanda’s neck clicked and it came off.
“Thank you.” Wanda exclaimed with a small smile.
Katerina replied, “Of course, any friend of Natalia’s is an ally of ours.” She then proceeded to go to the cockpit with Sonya.
The jet then began to take off. Antonia and Yelena continued to help Natasha. At first removing her bloody shirt and then assessing the damage. There were already some very bloody bandages on Natasha but whoever did it either clearly didn’t care or didn’t know how to provide medical assistance. A deep stab wound was located above her left hip. Yelena then began to clean and stitch the injury with Antonia helping.
During the entire process, Clint stayed holding Natasha’s hand with everyone else just sitting down and watching with dread in their stomachs. After Natasha’s wound was bandaged she let herself close her eyes and fall asleep, knowing she was in good hands.
Steve was the one to break the silence, “Who are you and how do you know Natasha?” The question lingered in the air for about a minute.
Yelena hesitantly answered, “This is Antonia, the two in the cockpit are Sonya and Katerina. I am Yelena.. Natasha’s sister.”
Clint’s head snapped up to meet Yelena’s gaze. “Nat never mentioned having any family.” Clint challenged.
Yelena chuckled, “That does not surprise me. We just started talking again a little over a week ago.”
As much as Clint was confused about Natasha’s newfound sister and what she said, he wondered about Antonia. It couldn’t be the same person, right? There was no way that the Antonia by Natasha’s side patching her up was Dreykov’s daughter, Clint thought. But the burn scars across her body, her young age, her name. Everything matched.
“Care to explain further?” Steve asked, also confused.
“No.” Yelena replied, “We will be arriving in Wakanda in 6 hours so get comfy.”
“How did Nat get caught by Ross?” Clint asked, still curious how the hell the elusive Black Widow got caught.
Yelena laughed, “Hah! You think Natasha would let herself get caught? Oh no she surrendered herself.”
Clint, Steve, Sam, and Wanda all stared at Yelena like she was crazy, all thinking the same thing; Natasha would never surrender herself over to the same government she told to kiss her ass.
Sam was the one to ask the question everyone wanted to know the answer to, “Why would she surrender herself?”
“How else were we supposed to rescue you? The prison moves and we needed to know the location, plus they were so distracted by Natasha they didn’t even notice us infiltrating them,” Yelena responded, starting to get annoyed by everyone’s questions.
“So you used Nat as bait?” Steve hissed, mad that these women got Natasha hurt on purpose.
It was then that Antonia switched places with Sonya in the cockpit. Sonya then walked up to Yelena and commented, “Я думал ты сказал что они могут быть союзниками, они кажутся очень неблагодарными.” <I thought you said they could be allies, they seem very ungrateful.>
Before Yelena could respond, Clint spoke up, “Hey! We are grateful, but you could’ve at least made a plan where Nat didn’t have to get hurt!”
Yelena shushed him and pointed down to Natasha sleeping. “It was Natasha’s plan, not mine. And anyway at least our attempt was successful.“ Yelena whispered, trying to make the point of everyone to be quiet.
Steve then looked away sheepishly, knowing that jab was directed at him. Both Yelena and Sonya looked at eachother, smirked, then looked at Clint. He was clearly head-over-heels for Natasha, and neither woman said anything about it. They knew it was good for Natasha to have someone to like him to rely on, even if he was stupid enough to get himself put in prison.

Natasha awoke to a soft snoring. She opened her eyes and smiled at the sight. Clint was asleep in the chair next to her holding her hand. She then surveyed her surroundings, she seemed to be in a hospital room of some sort. They must be in Wakanda, Natasha assumed.
“Ah the poser is awake.”
Natasha looked over to her other side and saw Yelena in another chair looking back at her. “How long was I asleep?” Natasha asked.
Yelena responded with a straight face, “3 years”
“Yelena,” Natasha scolded seeing right through her lie.
“Fine, 2 days. You are no fun, you know that?”
Before Natasha could respond Clint raised his head and said, “About time you woke up, I was starting to get worried… Why didn’t you tell me?”
Yelena quickly noticed that they needed to talk alone and left the room.
“Yelena told me everything. The red room, Draykov’s daughter, Ohio. Why didn’t you say anything?” Clint asked, a little hurt.
Natasha replied, “What did you want me to say? That everything we did was for nothing?”
“It wasn’t for nothing! You joined Shield-”
“That doesn’t matter. It was all Hydra anyways,” Natasha interrupted.
Clint looked down not knowing what to say. It was true after all, Shield was just Hydra’s puppet, a pawn in their game. “You still could’ve told me.” Clint said weakly, still feeling a bit betrayed.
“I only just found out about the Red Room being active and Antonia being alive myself. Besides, you were in the Raft, so even if I wanted to, I couldn’t tell you.” Natasha responded lightly, trying to brighten up the mood.
The joke fell short and Clint glared at Natasha saying, “What about Ohio? You could’ve at least told me you had a sister. I thought we told each other everything.”
Natasha sighed, “I didn’t tell you about Ohio because I didn’t think of it as real, I didn’t think of Yelena as my little sister or them as my family. After I went back to the Red Room, I just thought of it as any other mission.”
Clint looked at Natasha, trying not to let the sadness show on his face. The way Yelena spoke about it was if she did truly believe her Ohio family was her real family, even if she knew that they weren’t. “And now?” He asked.
Natasha gave him a small smile, “Now, I have two families.” She then squeezed Clint’s hand, silently reassuring him.
