Summary
Scarecrow is a scientist, a doctor in psychology and brain chemistry. He knows what he does, what his toxins target, and he tests them methodically before using them against a group of large. His attacks with his toxin had safety triggers and watchful goons strategically placed to administer antidotes where it was medically required. He knew what he did, when he discarded a component before even testing it at all. He knew why he had abandoned some research before the bats even saw the result of it.
So why was Batman thinking he could use Scarecrow's abandoned work and not feel the effects he let someone else suffer? Scarecrow will teach Batman why Scarecrow was the master of fear, not the Batman who never understood fear in its entirety.
