   Summary

You hadn’t meant for this to happen.

You’d not expected your most recent articles on the planetary blockades to spread faster than the spice trade throughout the systems.

Not expected the Trade Federation’s trying to silence your outcries against their actions by placing a target on your back.

And you’d definitely not expected your best friend to exercise her influence within the political sphere to call upon a Jedi—a gorgeous one, at that—and place you under his protection from said target on said back.

But then again, the galaxy is always full of surprises, isn’t it?
